I live in a granny flat in the backyard of my parents house. I am slowly transforming my bedroom environment into all-natural non-toxic organic products. I have replaced my 100W Sylvania incandescent light bulb for the full spectrum BioLight. It's good. I like it, but unfortunately it's not as bright as Sylvania. I'm on my keyboard and I notice the lighting on the keys is darker and harder to see late at night. I'm thinking of getting an electrician to install a multi globe light fixture. I would like to know if installing a 4 or 5 bulb light fixture in my ceiling would be ideal? I would like to know if it's safe on my health and eyes if I were to install 4 or 5 full spectrum BioLights? I'm thinking that if I were to get a 4 or 5 bulb ceiling light fixture, and if I were to find that 4 or 5 BioLights is a little too bright, then hopefully I could remove a bulb or two.

At age 45, despite experimenting with two separate pairs of blue light blocking glasses, I've noticed a decline in my eyesight. Objects now appear blurry when looking at them up close. I've suspected it could be the low lighting in this bedroom that may have caused it. Maybe adding more light to this bedroom may aid my vision, I don't know. I can't imagine life without these bulbs! We'll never go back to "regular" bulbs again.

The (three-color) BioLights are perfect for the living room, kitchen, and bathrooms where we need task lighting during the day, but once the sun begins to set, we switch to the warm amber hues. It's like adding a cozy sunset to your living room every evening! It didn't take long to fall in love with the warm sunset glow that adds that next level of comfort and rest in the evenings.

My only complaint is that I wish they offered a three-way BioLight that included Full Spectrum for daytime, Amber for evenings, and Red for night. That would solve a lot of issues! We love Block Blue Light's red bulbs during the last hours before bed. Unfortunately, that leaves us with either replacing bulbs throughout our house twice daily (which is unrealistic) or somehow adding additional light fixtures to every living space and hallway so we can navigate the house with only red light at night. Ugh! Please create a three-color bulb!

It's also worth noting that these BioLights are significantly larger than regular bulbs. Thankfully, they fit into our wall sconces, but that may not be true for a tighter fixture.

I've recommended the Full Spectrum Light to my friends and family who've ordered and been just as pleased as I have. There are 3 settings: when you turn on the light, it gives off the daylight spectrum, click the light again and the sunset spectrum shows, click it again and an orange/red evening light is given off. I can't wait to turn on my light in the morning as the daylight spectrum helps wake me up. In the evening, I stop all phone, tv and computer screens (no blue light) and really enjoy reading with the orange/red glow of the "3rd click" of the light. I have one of these lights in every room now so in the evenings there's no blue light in the home. I coupled this with two other habits. First, turning off wifi at night. Not only does wifi give off radiation that causes brain fog and other issues, it also acts as a stimulant - start by turning it off at night then go the next step and buy an ethernet cable so you can get rid of wifi altogether and use a (faster) wired connection. Second, I bought a sleep alarm clock. A dedicated alarm that plays soothing music at 9pm reminding me to start winding down. I can't tell you how easy it is to fall asleep now. I used to take sleeping pills, then tried melatonin. With these lights, I don't take anything! My head hits the pillow and boom I'm asleep. Thank you so much for making such a wonderful product.

These are great bulbs and do exactly what they say they do. I reduced by one star, because the shape of them is longer than other bulbs of this GU10 style. The bulbs protrude out beyond the shade of each lamp......causing the light they throw to glare into my face, beyond lighting up the counter surface. I like the time of day lighting options on them very much, and because of that, I'll be shopping for larger containers (large enough to keep the entire bulb recessed into the shade)....to attach to my track lighting system above my kitchen counter. I do recommend these bulbs.....they are exactly as described and I very much like the ability to change the lighting as the day progresses into evening, and then the hours just before bed. I can't believe this, but I think these bulbs truly are improving my sleep. (long term chronic insomniac). Using LOTS less sleeping medication.
